This is a great opportunity to challenge yourself, improve your skills, and enjoy the experience, no matter your current level.
Here’s the planned itinerary:
Monday 8.9.
- Arrival in Naples (Napoli)
- Open water swim session and lunch in the Bay of Naples
- Drive to Matera
- Overnight stay in Matera
Tuesday 9.9.
- Sunrise hike through the historic city of Matera and breakfast.
- Drive to Taranto
- Open water swim or pool training in Taranto
- Overnight stay in Taranto
Wednesday 10.9
- Morning open water swim session
- Afternoon visits to: Alberobello and Ostuni
Thursday 11.9
- Morning: Set sail on a boat tour in Taranto, with the exciting chance to spot dolphins in their natural
habitat! - Afternoon: Time to team up for a fun and challenging relay swim session — a perfect blend of competition, teamwork, and open water skills development.
Friday 12.9
- Morning: Travel to the beautiful coastal town of Monopoli for an invigorating open water
swimming training session in crystal-clear waters. - Midday: Head to the iconic Polignano a Mare for lunch with a view, a perfect moment to relax and take in the stunning cliffside scenery.
- Afternoon: Return to Taranto to rest and recharge. Evening: Join us for the Opening Ceremony of the Open Water Competition, followed by a high-energy Sprint Event.
Saturday 13.9
- Race Day 1. 1-mile + knockout race in Taranto
- Dinner and social evening in Taranto
Sunday 14.9
- Race Day 2. 3km race
- Trail experience with wine and cheese tasting in Taranto and dinner in Martina Franca (this activity is optional and it is not included to the camp fee)

*Please note that the camp fee includes accommodation and the meals as mentioned above. Rest of the meals participants pay by themselves. In Taranto the meal plan is half board (HB) and we choose lunch or dinner according to the activities of the day.
TRANSPORTATION
For the duration of the trip, we will be traveling in comfortable 9-seater vans, providing plenty of space for passengers and luggage. *Transportation is included to the camp fee.
MEDITERRANEO OPEN WATER COMPETITION TARANTO
Join us for an exciting open water competition in the stunning city of Taranto, with the race taking place right in front of the historic Aragonese Castle. The event spans two days of thrilling races:
- Day 1 features a 1-mile swim followed by an elimination (knockout) round.
- Day 2 challenges swimmers with a 3-kilometer race.
- As a fun “warm-up”, we’ll also host a 6x50m random relay on Thursday, a lighthearted and unpredictable event that’s all about team spirit and good vibes!
*Participation to the Mediterraneo open water competition is included to the camp fee.
CATAMARAN TRIP 11.9

FLIGHTS
Please note that the flights are not included to the camp fee and all the participants are asked to arrange their flights by themselves. For the smooth transportation we wish that all the swimmers would arrive to Naples international airport 8.9.2025 during the morning. Departure day is 15.9.2025. Any questions or doubts about the arrival times please contact us.
Recommended flights for the swimmers arriving from Finland: Finnair HEL-NAP 8.9.25 7:15-9:45 and Finnair NAP-HEL 15.9.25 10:35-15:00.
PRICING AND CANCELLATION POLICY
The camp fee is €1.250 and is valid until July 31, 2025. After August 1 , the camp fee is €1.400. The camp will take place with a minimum of 10 participants and can accommodate up to 24 participants.
A non-refundable reservation fee of €300 is due at the time of registration. This fee is not reimbursed under any circumstances, even in the event of cancellation by the participant.
Registration is binding, and participants agree to pay the remaining balance by July 31, 2025. Cancellations are only accepted with a valid medical certificate and must be submitted no later than July 31, 2025.
We kindly ask for your understanding that cancellations made on or after August 1, 2025, will incur the full camp fee, as preparations will already be well underway. To join us at camp, participants need to be members of our club — a warm and welcoming community. Becoming a member is easy and involves a small annual fee of €20.
INSURANCE AND LIABILITY
Participants are responsible for obtaining their own personal insurance coverage. Please note that participation in the camp requires signing a liability waiver.
Each participant is also responsible for assessing their own health and physical fitness when deciding to take part in the camp and its activities.
